Van Horn Dodge Raises Funds for the Hmong Community

July 21, 2012, Sheboygan, Wisconsin – In an effort to help raise funds for the Hmong Mutual Assistance Association of Sheboygan (HMAA), Van Horn Dodge ran a one-week Facebook promotion. For every like that the Van Horn Dodge Facebook Fan Page received during the promotion period, the Plymouth-based dealership donated $5.00 toward the Association. At the end of the week, Van Horn Dodge made a total donation of $500.00 to the Hmong Mutual Assistance Association.

“We are thankful for the continuous support of Van Horn Dodge,” said Veng Neng Vue, President of HMAA. “Because of the contributions that businesses like yours make, we are able to further our mission of promoting a spirit of loving friendship, cooperation, and benevolence among the Hmong community of Sheboygan.”

Van Horn Dodge was given an honorary booth at the Sheboygan Hmong Festival on Saturday, July 21, 2012. Vue stated that the donation from Van Horn would be allocated to the youth programs within the Association. These programs are a vital branch of HMAA, because they give Hmong youths in the Sheboygan area an opportunity to receive support and guidance, experience greater self-esteem and motivation for success, and learn to understand cultural differences.
