Mental Health America is comprised of individuals and organizations that
value the importance of mental well-being. Through collaborative
efforts, they are creating a healthier community! Van Horn Automotive
Group was thrilled to be able to be a part of this endeavor by
sponsoring the 7th Annual There is Hope Walk for Suicide Prevention and
Awareness.
Our support will help Mental Health America in Sheboygan County continue its work of providing:

●Confidential referrals●Advocacy for mental health issues
●Emergency medication assistance
●Educational programs and outreach
●Informational handouts and brochures
The walk was held on August 18th at Delong Point along Sheboygan’s
scenic lakefront. This year’s speaker, at the opening ceremony, was
Billie Kubly, one of the founders of the Charles E. Kubly Foundation
based in Milwaukee. The foundation supports suicide prevention efforts
following the loss of Billie’s son Charlie to suicide. The event
included chair massages, great food, information booths, educational
information, music, a memory quilt, a crafts table, a spirit arch, a
bake sale, a silent auction and bucket raffles!
