On Saturday September 17th, the 12th Annual Earthride will take place at the Ellwood H. May Environmental Park (Maywood). Maywood provides environmental education and recreation opportunities to over 20,000 school children, families, and adults each year. Maywood fulfills its goal of “promoting environmental stewardship through real life experiences” by offering a wide variety school tours, family programs, natural history programs, and special events. The 135-acre park offers hiking and skiing trails and is open 365-days a year, free of charge.
Maywood Earth Ride is for any age and cycling ability: individuals,
families and groups. All participants have a chance to win great door
prizes, including a free bicycle! This ride is a tour, NOT a race nor
competitive event. We encourage riders to take their time and enjoy the
great outdoors! Six scenic routes of 12, 25, 50, 70, 100 & 112
miles.

and several of our employees participate in it annually! We enjoy
giving back to such a fantastic environmental park that encourages
family and children to learn about nature and being active!Ride participants enjoy continental breakfast, delicious lunch, rest stop refreshments, Culligan water and sports drinks, sag and maintainence support. Rest stops every 10-20 miles will provide restrooms, fabulous snacks and beverages, and friendly volunteers. Enjoy post-ride activities including lunch and massage.
Fun rest stops include the Bulitz Farm and Petting Zoo and the Town of Sheboygan Firehouse. Register by September 1st for an early-bird discount. Ride for FREE! Raise $75 or more in pledges to support Maywood and you will receive free registration and great prizes.
