Sheboygan County Budget Auto Assists Victim of Vandalism Get Back on the Road

BEFORE: Christina Earls is the victim of car-flipping
vandals who totaled her vehicle.
Plymouth, WI – September, 2011:  Sheboygan County Budget Auto, a subsidiary of the Van Horn Automotive Group, announced Wednesday that it will assist Christina Earls in acquiring a vehicle after her 1998 was tipped over in an act of vandalism late Sunday night.

“My heart went out to Christina when I heard what happened and learned more about her unfortunate circumstance” said Tina Metz, who heads up the Van Horn Dodge stores’ business development dept, “and I called the general manager right away.”  Richard Strong, general manager of Sheboygan County Budget Auto and Van Horn Dodge of Plymouth, WI felt the same, “I thought this is someone who could really use a break right now, so we set out to find her and see what we could do to help.”

AFTER: Christina poses with her 2002 Oldsmobile
Silhouette, which she chose after being given the option
of a 2005 Dodge Neon, or a 2003 Pontiac Montana.
Working with the local paper, Tina Murphy, customer relations manager for Van Horn Dodge, was able to contact Ms Earls and tell her of the offer to donate a car to her.  Ms. Earls was understandably overwhelmed with emotion and very grateful as the two worked out the details for her to visit the dealership the next day to test drive a few options. Due to the follow-up story in the Sheboygan Press, another local business came forward to lend their support. Sue Breitbach- Fenn, a local American Family Insurance agent, offered to cover liability insurance on the vehicle Ms. Earls chose for 1 year!
