Van Horn Dealership Honored by Chrysler For 25 Years of Service

Van Horn Chrysler Dodge Jeep was honored for 25 years as a Chrysler dealer when executives from Chrysler Corporation visited the dealership on Monday June 4th.

“We were all very excited when Chrysler contacted us and said they would be recognizing Chuck’s accomplishments. And I can assure you that the whole Van Horn team is extremely proud of this milestone” said Richard Strong, General Manager of Van Horn Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.

Chuck Van Horn has been operating the Van Horn Dodge store since 1987, and added the Jeep and Chrysler franchises in 2009.  The business is part of the Van Horn Automotive group, which was originally founded by Joe Van Horn in 1966.  His son, Chuck looking back, recalls these being challenging times as Joe moved his family from Chicago to Plymouth to purchase Wagner Chevrolet and open his first store, Joe Van Horn Chevrolet.

“I’m honored to receive the award,” Chuck Van Horn said of the plaque, which will be put on display in the dealership.  “We’re looking forward to another 25 years of continued success with the Chrysler brand”

Chrysler Corporation representatives presented the plaque and offered congratulations to Chuck Van Horn and the employees for their years of service as a Dodge dealer.

The Van Horn Auto Group currently employs nearly 150 people in its Plymouth operations and over 300 statewide. The Van Horn Auto Group is also expanding their operations in Sheboygan and has added locations in Milwaukee and Stoughton.
