On
September 14th, ninety-one golfers participated in a great day of golf at the
Friends of Make-a-Wish Golf Outing in Sheboygan Falls to benefit the
foundation. The Make-a-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin grants the wishes of
children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich their lives with
hope, strength, and joy. Special events like this one help raise funding to
make wish granting possible.
Van Horn Chevrolet sponsored a
“Hole in One” contest for a chance for participants to win one of two brand new
cars! Kris Teofilo, the regional director of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of WI
called the contest “a BIG hit with golfers and an enhancement to our event!”
She also says “generous sponsors, including Van Horn, help make magical wishes
come true for children living with life threatening medical conditions.”
