Plymouth, WI – October, 2011:
Van Horn Automotive Group has donated a
2007 Dodge Durango to the Plymouth Ambulance Service which provides
pre-hospital Paramedic level care servicing the northwestern section of
Sheboygan County area which covers 244 square miles, including the City
of Plymouth; Townships of Greenbush, Lyndon, Mitchell, and Plymouth;
Villages of Cascade, Elkhart Lake, Greenbush, Glenbeulah, and Waldo;
also portions of the Townships of Herman, Lima, Rhine, Russell, and
Sheboygan Falls.

When Brian Goelzer, of the Ambulance Service came into the
Van Horn Dodge showroom last month, he knew two things, they
didn’t have much to spend and their incident response vehicle, a 1999
Chevy Suburban, wouldn’t last much longer! After discussing the details
of the deal with Brian, Bob O’Connor — a Van Horn salesman, spoke with
senior management about what the company might be able to do to help the
ambulance service. Recognizing the importance of the ambulance service
not only to Plymouth but the surrounding rural communities, the
automotive group is providing a no-charge lease of the 2007 Durango for
three years.
This vehicle upgrade, to the Flex-Fuel equipped Durango, will assist
emergency medical services personnel to continue their services while
providing fuel cost savings.
