Van Horn Automotive Group was recently asked be a part sponsor of the 2010 Festival of
Trees. The Festival of Trees is presented through the generosity of
Wells Fargo Bank and The Sheboygan Press. The event is organized and
staffed entirely by volunteers with proceeds distributed to local
charitable groups. Festival of Trees annually provides a fun and
affordable community supported exhibition of decorated holiday items
produced for the purpose of raising money for local charities and
providing enjoyment for the citizens. The Festival was founded in 1990
as a three day event. Last year’s contributions totaled about $54,000 bringing the nineteenth year total of donations to $1,186,500 benefiting Sheboygan County charities dedicated to children and families.
The events, which take place at The Blue Harbor Resort and Conference Center, will feature a variety of beautifully decorated trees, wreaths, gingerbread houses, garlands and specialty items.
