Van Horn Automotive Group Donates Vehicle for St. John the Baptist Auction

On April 11, 2015 St. John the Baptist held an auction at the Osthoff in Elkhart Lake. The proceeds were put towards supporting the middle school combination desks, STEM resources, iPad cart, iPads, all-school assemblies, and Professional Development Opportunities for teaching staff. The Van Horn Automotive Group donated a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu towards the auction. The lucky winner who won the 2014 Chevrolet Malibu was Cheryl Gates.

Van Horn Automotive Group Donates $1,000 for Pay-It-Forward

The Van Horn Automotive Group chose to do something different this year at the 2015 Chamber Champions Gala. A name was to be picked out of a hat which contained all attendees’ names. The lucky winner was to choose a non-profit organization of their choice to donate the $1,000 to. The lucky winner this year was Mike Seifert of Feldmann Engineering. Mike chose to pay-it-forward to RCS Empowers Inc.

Van Horn Auto Group wraps up 2014 baseball season partnership with Plymouth Youth Baseball Plymouth, July 22, 2014 – Van Horn Auto Group, one of 22 Chevrolet dealers from the Milwaukee area that partnered with local youth baseball leagues for the 2014 baseball program, has concluded a successful season with Plymouth Youth Baseball. Van Horn Auto Group provided Plymouth Youth Baseball with new equipment, a monetary contribution and an opportunity for community members to raise funds for the league via a Test Drive fundraiser. “We’re glad we were able to extend Chevrolet’s commitment to spreading joyful play to the members of our community,” said Bruce Vreeke, Bodyshop Manager for Van Horn Auto Group.

Coming Soon To Van Horn, Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

Coming soon Van Horn Dodge will be introducing the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. This vehicle is said to be the fastest and toughest muscle car to date with 707 horsepower and can cruise through a quarter mile in 10.8 seconds. Under the hood rests a 6.2 liter engine waiting to be unleashed on the road. Inside the cabin, this vehicle comes with GPS navigation, SRT leather seating and a 8.4 inch touchscreen that lays out all of the gauges you need in the car as well as the extras it comes with. This Hellcat is ready to go so make sure you take the chance to catch it before it's gone!

Van Horn Automotive Helps to end Alzheimer's

On Saturday, September 27th, people gathered at the Sports Core in Kohler for the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's. During the event Van Horn Automotive held a free sign and drive to help raise money for the cause. Vehicles of different makes and models were used throughout the day. For each free test drive Van Horn donated $10 to the Alzheimer's Association. The event proved to be a success as Van Horn Automotive raised $1010 for the cause. A check was presented to the organization on Monday, November 24th. Thank you to all of those who helped participated and helped out the cause. 

Van Horn raises $1,000 for Elkhart Lake High School

On Saturday, September 20th, Van Horn Automotive held a free sign and drive to raise money for the basketball club at Elkhart Lake Glenbeulah High School. The event was held at Anchor Lanes from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. For every test drive taken, Van Horn Automotive donated ten dollars to the basketball club and by the end of the event, $1,000 was raised! Your favorite vehicles from Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram and Chevrolet were all made available for the test drives. A check was presented to the club on the 17th of October. Thank you to all those who came out and helped to support the event!

Van Horn Automotive Sponsors a Hole at the 2014 Annual Sheboygan County Chamber Golf Outing

On Wednesday September 10^th, Van Horn Automotive assisted in sponsoring and attending the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Golf Outing Fundraiser. All money raised from the outing goes to fund the many activities of the Chamber and the Chamber’s scholarship fund. Van Horn sponsored a hole at Sheboygan’s Town & Country Golf course, giving the member of each team with the longest drive a free oil change at any of our 8-locations.”
