Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin, in conjunction with Van Horn Chevrolet, granted 16 year old Brandon Holl’s wish to have a car
accessory package for his new Chevrolet Camaro with a special wish day
party for family and friends on Monday October 31st at 11:00am at Van Horn Chevrolet in Plymouth. Brandon is living with acute lymphoblastic
leukemia.
Brandon’s family purchased the new Camaro for Brandon, and when he
found out that he medically qualified for a wish, he decided to wish for
special accessories. The package includes pin striping, a remote start,
20″ tires, headlights, a leather steering wheel and shifting knob and
roof molding. Make-A-Wish Foundation will also pay for one year
insurance and provide a $500 gas card and one-year AAA membership.
Staff from Van Horn Chevrolet along with Make-A-Wish staff will
celebrate Brandon’s wish come true with pizza and cake at the
dealership.
Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin grants the wishes of children
with life threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience
with hope, strength and joy. Wishes are a special type of medicine that
give children a break from doctor’s visits, hospital stays and
treatments and provide them something positive with which to look
forward.
Since the Wisconsin chapter was founded in 1984. more than 4.200
families statewide can attest to the power of a wish. Last year, the
chapter granted more than 300 wishes and currently more than 240
Wisconsin children are in the process of having their special wishes
granted. For more information about Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin
